VPX Gen. 2 - 3U PCIe 8-lane RAID SSD storage module

3U PCIe 8-lane RAID SSD storage module is designed to accelerate the storage system by eliminating SATA throughput limitations and connecting to the system via PCIe. The PCIe x8 Gen.2 interface used by the module exceeds the 4GB/sec bandwidth of the SSD portion and is controlled by a Marvell processor. Bord manager B.MAN optionally available for use with PCI-Systems complete systems.

For highest speeds, a x8 PCIe GEN2 backplane lane must be used. Uses SLC or MLC flash depending on the application. With SLC total capacity is 2TB.

AES 256 encryption is always-on. The 3U PCIe 8-lane RAID SSD storage module is a 3U VPX form factor with a 1” pitch and is VITA 46 and 48 compatible.
